While 2024 is shaping up to be yet another season of high-profile divorces, Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny are making the case for circling the block with an ex. On Tuesday, TMZ published a video of the formerly broken-up couple gazing into each other’s eyes over sushi in Puerto Rico, marking the third time they’ve been spotted together in a matter of weeks.
Previously, the duo met up for a late-night dinner at another Japanese spot, Gekko Japanese Steakhouse in Miami, following Bad Bunny’s performance at Kaseya Center. At the time, TMZ sources claimed that Jenner and Bunny walked inside together and were seated in a VIP room, where they spent the next hour and some change. On their way out, footage obtained by TMZ shows Bunny looking over his shoulder to make sure Jenner was still behind him — what the outlet describes as “couple” behavior — before hopping in an SUV together. Days later, People reported that the two were officially back together, with multiple sources claiming that “things are great again.”
Unfortunately, some credit must go to Anna Wintour for inviting both exes to this year’s Met Gala, after which Jenner was seen “rubbing [Benito’s] head” at an after-party thrown by Emily Ratajkowski. According to a People source, things are “going well and they’re prioritizing spending time together as they figure it out. There wasn’t ever any drama in their breakup, and they missed each other.”
The reggaeton star and Jenner dated for part of last year — a period in which Jenner introduced Benito to the equestrian lifestyle, sharing a single horse — before things reportedly “started to fizzle out between them,” according to ET. At the time, the same source claimed theirs wasn’t a “forever type of relationship,” which checks out at the very least on a linguistic level: Jenner hardly speaks a lick of Spanish. Either way, at this juncture I think it’s safe to say these two want to partake in at least a little summer fun. You know, the kind with minimal conversation? Now that’s something worth cheers-ing 818 Tequila over.
