Nara Smith Says She Doesn’t Want to Homeschool Her Kids

Nara Smith has found a way to bring sunscreen-making and candy-manufacturing inside her home, so it would not be surprising if she planned to carry out her children’s education right there next to that Smeg toaster. (She and her husband, fellow model Lucky Blue Smith, would be far from the first Mormon-family influencers to homeschool.) But Smith, who welcomed her third child with Lucky Blue in April, isn’t so sure. On Tuesday, she dedicated an Instagram Q&A section to whether she plans to homeschool 3-year-old Rumble Honey, 2-year-old Slim Easy, and little Whimsy Lou.

“We’ve had a lot of conversations about homeschooling our kids!” Smith wrote to a follower who asked if her children will be homeschooled. “I do want them to go to school and experience that environment. Since we still have some time until they would start it’s an ongoing conversation Lucky and I keep having.”

So no Ballerina Farm–style in-home teaching just yet. Selfishly, I’d love to see the Smith kids and their linen culottes head to kindergarten — imagine the lunchboxes that woman could pack.
