Former Plan Bri Uncut co-host Grace O’Malley may no longer be a Barstool employee, but that won’t keep her name out of Dave Portnoy’s mouth. The podcaster was childhood best friends and co-workers with Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia before the women had a falling out in December. O’Malley has since been swooped up by Alex Cooper’s Unwell podcast network, which means a tell-all episode about the friend breakup is likely imminent. In the meantime, the 26-year-old dropped a few vague details on This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von, where she claimed that Barstool had paid her a “decent” salary but had paid LaPaglia “a whole shit ton more.” Portnoy can’t let a morsel of gossip fly by without having the last word, so naturally the Barstool founder hopped on TikTok Wednesday to clarify O’Malley’s compensation package.
@stoolpresidente Grace went on Theo Von podcast and sort of insinuated like we didn’t pay her fairly so I figured I’d just say what she made here so people can decide for themselves. She was in the last year of a 3 year deal.

“She was finishing up her third year at Barstool,” Portnoy said of O’Malley. “Her base salary, $175,000 a year.” He then clarified that on top of her base, she received 70 percent of any Barstool revenue brought in from her personal social channels. That amounted to another $75,000, Portnoy said.
“Total salary for last year, a quarter million, $250,000 to Grace,” he added. “I think that’s pretty fair, pretty good.”
While Portnoy didn’t disclose how much LaPaglia was making, he credited any difference in pay to star power. “Bri was a much more bigger personality, way more followers, bigger everything,” he explained. “And really, obviously Grace’s star has risen with the blowup and everything happening, but that is why Bri got paid more. I mean, Grace had nothing when she came to Barstool, no following, she wasn’t doing anything, so that’s not that surprising.”
Safe to say I’ll be setting calendar alerts for O’Malley’s inaugural solo podcast episode.
