Sure, Why Not a Mark Zuckerberg Cover of ‘Get Low’

Ladies, never settle. Play your cards right and you’ll land a husband who’s obsessed with you — so obsessed, in fact, he’ll pay tribute to you by … hiring Grammy Award–winning rapper-producer T-Pain? To help him with his own acoustic cover of “Get Low”? Yeah, okay.

Anyway, that’s what Mark Zuckerberg did for Priscilla Chan-Zuckerberg to celebrate their 21st year together. (The 2002 Lil Jon classic was playing at the Harvard party where they first locked eyes.) And because Zuck adores his wife so, so much, he’s shared his “Get Low” cover publicly so we can all bask in their love. Personally, I’ve always wanted to imagine Zuck — sorry, “Z-Pain” — approaching a crunk shorty about playing with her panties. To hear him sing about his perspiring balls. And by that I mean I heard the cover and spit coffee all over my laptop.

Lest you think this is the only thing the Meta CEO has done for his lady, I should remind you: He’s thrown her a disco party and commissioned a giant turquoise statue of her for their backyard. As for how Zuckerberg ended up collaborating with T-Pain, the two have been pals for a while: Zuck appeared in the Florida singer’s livestream in 2021. More recently, T-Pain sent Zuckerberg a “Nappy Boy-Meta Chain” — Nappy Boy is T-Pain’s entertainment company — which Zuck posted online and said was the “perfect opportunity to show how the new Segment Anything AI research model we’re releasing today can track different objects in the same video,” whatever that means. Zuck has also been listening to Sixpence None the Richer in the boxing ring, wake-surfing, and leveling up his look with gold chains. But being a wife guy seems to be his ultimate priority. Guess the 4B movement isn’t coming for this one.
