In the great war between Donald Trump and Taylor Swift — which really exists only in his mind — Ivanka Trump has picked a side. Sort of. “Page Six” reported that Ivanka took her daughter, Arabella, to the Eras Tour in Miami over the weekend. Choosing your daughter’s happiness over your father’s enmity — there’s probably an ancient Greek play about that.

Following Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris back in September, Trump told anyone who would listen that he was not a fan. He went on Fox & Friends to say that his preferred Chiefs WAG was Brittany Mahomes. He posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social. He switched to streaming only the original version of Fearless in support of Scooter Braun. Just kidding about that last one, but Swift is persona non grata in Trump’s world.

Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time this year that Arabella’s Swiftie status has made headlines. For her 13th birthday, the tween celebrated with a replica of the “Blank Space” cake — you know, the heart-shaped one that Swift stabs in the video. Because Ivanka’s post about her daughter’s birthday was Swift adjacent, the tabloids went nuts when Kim Kardashian commented, “Happy Birthday Arabella.” You would’ve thought she had declared their long-running feud officially dead.

Between her father’s feud with Swift and her previous tabloid exposure, it makes sense that Ivanka, who is usually quite active on Instagram, didn’t post anything about attending the concert. “Page Six” reported that she was merely on chaperone duty, anyway, with Arabella bringing her friends to the show. So maybe she was attending strictly in parent mode? At least that’s what she could’ve told her father. Let’s not kid ourselves — that’s a woman who loves 1989.
