Ah, Fiji: where the water is turquoise, the tourists are bikini-clad, and repeated shrieks of “FAWK, AARON!” roll across the island on a gentle breeze. Such was the landscape where the surprise juggernaut Love Island USA was filmed this year, as newly anointed host Ariana Madix and a cast of unfiltered 20-somethings (including a snake slayer) won over longtime U.K.-loyal Love Island fans. Unfortunately, one of the sixth season’s core couples — spoilers abound! — seems to have rolled straight out of Soul Ties in the villa and headed immediately for Splitsville. Somewhere, a tear is rolling down Kaylor Martin’s face as she whispers, once again, “Fawk.”
On Wednesday night, most of the heavily memed cast members were on hand in New York to film the season’s reunion episode, including Leah “now you’re sending three home” Kateb and suitcase-swinging Kordell Beckham (yes, that would be the younger brother of NFL player Odell Beckham Jr.). Martin, whose contentious show relationship with Aaron Evans has been heavily criticized from start to finish, showed up in an all-red “hot revenge dress” and was filmed telling fans that she and Aaron “are done, we are not together.”

Rumors of the couple’s demise have been swirling since Evans did Martin dirty during the series’ infamous Casa Amor stint. While Martin was reduced to a puddle of tears over the 27-year-old’s transgressions, she quickly accepted him back and agreed to be his girlfriend. But as soon as they exited the villa, chaos ensued as Martin finally got to see just how badly Evans behaved behind her back, and everyone from Nick Viall to Barstool’s Dave Portnoy were voting for Martin to ditch her beloved. Last month, the 22-year-old said she wanted to “take a step back” from her relationship with Evans, but this is the first confirmation we’ve gotten that things — for the time being — are over. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what goes down at the reunion, which is scheduled to air on Monday. In the words of Martin: “Guys tune in to this reunion bc holy shit.”
