Apparently, Rebecca Minkoff has had enough of the Bravoverse. The designer is leaving The Real Housewives of New York City after one tumultuous season, saying she’d rather focus on her family, friends, and brand instead.
Minkoff wasn’t a full-time Housewife — she was a “friend of” the cast — and during the show’s 15th season, she dodged Scientology questions, faked a swinger pregnancy, and even admitted she did the show to better her brand’s diminishing sales. After the season’s reunion episode aired, the one-season wonder posted a statement on Instagram announcing her departure.
“2025 is a new beginning for me and with current events in the world, I am reminded the importance of family, friends, and community now more than ever,” she wrote. “As much as I have learned along the way with this franchise and fans, I want to reprioritize the things that mean the most to me: designing, giving back, supporting women and raising my family.”
Minkoff says it’s “time to turn the page,” and Bravo apparently agrees, which appears to be filling her spot already.
