It’s college move-in season, and all across the nation, 18-year-olds are investing in mini-fridges and driving Target employees insane. Among them are a large crop of celebrity children — like Violet Affleck, who moved into her new Yale digs with the help of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner last week, and now Suri Cruise. Over the weekend, Cruise and her mom, Katie Holmes, were seen wheeling some hefty suitcases into her new Carnegie Mellon dorm.
The duo also strolled around campus, chatting while Katie appeared to power up with a bottled Starbucks Frappuccino. (Have you ever lofted an extra-long twin bed? It’s hard work!) Katie recently told Town & Country she’s “really proud of” her daughter, who graduated from La Guardia High School in the spring, but that she will “miss the close proximity.”
According to the school’s website, Carnegie Mellon orientation is this week, so Suri could be participating in an icebreaker as we speak. What do you think her two truths and a lie are?
