According to the Providence Journal, the singer has begun construction on a $1.7 million addition to her Rhode Island beach house. The site of several infamous summer bashes, Swift’s occasionally controversial home in Westerly will be getting a new bedroom, some new bathrooms, and a renovated kitchen before it opens back up for the season.
For the nosiest Swifties, a TikTok posted last week showed a crew working on the home.

Yep, that sure looks like she’s adding a new suite to the mansion. And despite the cold weather outside, this is making me realize that summer is closer than I think it is. Before you know it, it will be time to get all your girls together to celebrate our nation’s birthday with Popsicles and inflatable pool floats.
