It’s been a trying few months for the royal family — Kate Middleton shared her cancer diagnosis in March while King Charles has been in treatment since February. Meanwhile, Middleton’s parents might be in debt. Amid it all, there’s at least one spot of good news: The young Prince Louis is celebrating his 6th birthday, and William and Kate posted a nice photo of the little chap for his big day.
The photo is credited to “The Princess of Wales,” which has naturally prompted some questions — as we all found out earlier this year, Middleton sometimes takes official royal photos and, in the words of her X account, “occasionally experiment[s] with editing.” The princess’s aides told the Daily Beast the photo was “unedited,” a claim CNN’s photo desk reportedly verified.
Which leaves us to wish a happy birthday to this sweet, sleepy guy. Cheerio!
