That’s what was reportedly in President Trump’s inauguration goodie bags, which “Page Six” says were given to the VIPs who were personal guests of Trump and his family. In addition to the supercool medal that featured both Trump and J.D. Vance, the swag bags included “a large red leather journal embossed in gold with a sketch of the U.S. Capitol,” “a red leather coin … embossed with the Capitol building,” and “a glittering White House Christmas ornament.” Congrats to Melania for getting her side hustle included in the bags.
That sounds like a lot of trash, you might be thinking. Well, you’re right. There was, however, one thing that was kind of fun. VIPs received a commemorative glass bottle of Diet Coke, the president’s favorite beverage. I’m sorry to say it, but that’s a good party favor.
