Over the weekend, while devastating wildfires continued to sweep through Los Angeles, Khloé Kardashian took to Instagram to join the blame game, calling L.A. mayor Karen Bass a “joke” for approving cuts to the city’s fire-department budget. Her post elicited widespread backlash and accusations of hypocrisy, including from actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who posted an Instagram of her own calling out the Kardashians’ brazen water usage during droughts.

“This is from 2022 when Los Angeles was in the midst of a drought,” Brown wrote under a screenshot of a Rolling Stone article that reported Khloé and Kim Kardashian’s homes had used hundreds of thousands of gallons more water than their allotted monthly limit. “Every citizen was asked to conserve for the good of everyone else. Y’know because of fires? This is how some citizens responded to the ask. Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?”

Kardashian is not alone in criticizing Bass and other L.A. Democrats for their policies leading up to the L.A. wildfires — Donald Trump has been railing against Bass and California governor Gavin Newsom on Truth Social. Sounds like she’s found her people.
