The new 10-year-old face of Burberry has to take his PSATs before fronting the magazine, with Alexandra Shulman tweeting yesterday, “Romeo Beckham @Burberry doesn’t meet Vogue model health initiative criteria of over 16’s only @BritishVogue.” But that doesn’t mean Lil Romeo won’t appear inside of international editions of the glossy — as Shulman writes, “To clarify Vogue no under sixteen model ban is in pages of our magazine. We don’t control runways or advertising,” and they’re certainly not going to skip over the fashion house’s spring/summer ads. A final tidbit from the Telegraph, who noticed Shulman’s tweets: “[A]pparently Master Beckham wasn’t accompanied by his famous parents on the shoot with Mario Testino, but with his nanny and bodyguard.” That must have made it hard to mack on Edie Campbell.
