Last night, fashion people and funny people came together for the season-three premiere of Girls. Anna Wintour walked the red carpet in a bold Prada coat (with a girl’s face on it! Festive!); Jenna Lyons came in a very Jenna Lyons sweatshirt-and-fancy-pants outfit; and Nanette Lepore, fresh off her De Blasio-inaguration-dressing victory, attended in a feather-trimmed black dress. Comedians like Amy Schumer and Vanessa Bayer came to celebrate along with the Orange Is the New Black ladies: Danielle Brooks in a pretty, sparkly number, and Natasha Lyonne in a turtleneck dress that featured an unexpected slit.
As for the Girls girls, Allison Williams went for a sweet, bare-legged Dior look; Lena Dunham wore a glorious disco-ball Rochas number; Zosia Mamet chose an understated Saint Laurent cocktail dress; and Jemima Kirke kept her eccentric boho thing going with a dress that looks like her mom’s vintage nightie (literally).
