Beyoncé made a surprise appearance this weekend at the DirecTV Super Saturday party, where she joined Jay Z on stage for the couple’s second performance of “Drunk in Love” in a week. For the occasion, Beyoncé wore a floor-length Roberto Cavalli gown that appears to be sewn from every spare scrap of lace, sheer, and sparkly black fabric the Italian design house had laying around. Yet it’s just a taste of what’s to come in terms of pop-star styling: Cavalli, who was always a favorite of the Spice Girls and played a hand in designing costumes for Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter World Tour, is now working on a set for Miley.
