Julie de Libran, formerly the studio director of women’s ready-to-wear at Louis Vuitton, has been named artistic director of another iconic French brand: Sonia Rykiel. De Libran’s first collection for the house will make its debut at Paris Fashion Week this fall. The designer, who’s also done stints at Prada and Versace, worked closely with Marc Jacobs at Vuitton and left shortly after his departure from the brand. We’re excited to see her take on Rykiel’s playful knitwear next.
