If you’re after a shiny butt or glistening legs, it’s no secret that body oils will help get you there. But if you want moisturized lips without wanting to deal with a sticky lip gloss, there’s Clarins’s Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil, a hydrating gel-oil that combines the moisturizing goodness of hazelnut and jojoba oils and gives your lips a healthy shine.
Comfort Oil is non-sticky, colorless, and tasteless — and is less tacky than a gloss. When I first tried the oil, it smoothed over the cracks on my lips to create a nice glossy surface — and it stayed on throughout the day, even as I guzzled a cup of coffee or two.
As the name suggests, I did notice an “instant light” in the oil — my lips looked more radiant than usual — and I look forward to bathing my lips in oil for a softness that lasts all day.
