On Wednesday, Twitter Movies dropped the much-anticipated trailer for the much-anticipated film adaptation of (the first half of) Dune, Frank Herbert’s 1965 epic sci-fi novel. The trailer has everything: Timothée Chalamet and his cheekbones; Oscar Isaac and his beard; Zendaya!
It also featured, at the end, a very big sandworm that looks like … hmm. Well, something …
I can’t quite put my finger on it?
It’s ringing bells …
I’m spreading my mind apart trying to figure this out.
I feel like there’s just a big, gaping hole in my memory right now.
Hmm. I can’t quite seem to figure it out. People on Twitter had some ideas, though.
Dune is premiering in theaters on December 18, so I guess we’ll just have to wait until then to figure out exactly what this worm looks like.
