Two things to cheer you up on this gloomy Friday afternoon: The sun won’t set before 5 p.m. again until November, and we’ve got party pics. It’s been a week of glamorous celebrations and very good outfits. Stars at Sundance, parties in Paris with Gucci, and athletes at Saks — here are our favorite looks.
Best Hair: Teyana Taylor
In winter, we’re all a little too worried about making a statement with our coats, but Teyana Taylor gets it right with this hair at the Vulture Spot at Sundance. Of course, she still has on an excellent outfit, but we’re saving this hairstyle for our next appointment.
Best Monochromatic Looks: James Harden and Lil Baby
Sometimes the key to a monochromatic look is a pop of color, as James Harden demonstrates with his fuzzy clogs and Lil Baby with his gray boots. The NBA star and the rapper strike a pose at Le Chalet at L’Avenue at Saks, where the brand celebrated its newly renovated men’s floor, where we’re sure you can buy looks like these.
Best in Pearls: Tina Kunakey and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Kunakey and Huntington-Whiteley joined Gucci at the Ritz Paris Hotel during Couture Week to celebrate the brand’s Hortus Deliciarum High Jewelry collection. They were, of course, dressed in Gucci and pearls.
Best Suit: Taylour Paige
The actress makes a case for logomania in this logo-print Gucci suit. She joined Invisible Beauty directors Bethann Hardison and Frédéric Tcheng at Sundance to celebrate the film focusing on Hardison, the iconic model and activist.
Best Birthday Look: Isan Elba
What better way to ring in 21 than a big bash with your friends? Actress Isan Elba spent 21 at the Blond at 11 Howard in a PatBo dress, which was far more glamorous than our 21st and probably our last birthday too.
Best Evening Look: Jessica Wang
Here’s a quick weekend tip: Match your makeup to your outfit. Influencer Jessica Wang pulls it off flawlessly with bright-red shadow to match her bright-red dress at Lanvin and Les Trois Chevaux’s big Lunar New Year fête.
Best in Leather: Nia Long
Take notes on mixing textures from Nia Long, who paired a leather jumpsuit with a feathered coat at Fotografiska. To kick off its latest exhibition, “Hip Hop: Conscious, Unconscious,” the museum teamed up with Mass Appeal for a party featuring a performance by Nas and a star-studded guest list.
Best Coat: Jaboukie Young-White
We’re just as thrilled about this coat as actor and comedian Jaboukie Young-White is about his La Mer. If you need any cold-weather inspo, look no further than this pop of color at the Vulture Spot at Sundance.
Best Color Blocking: Algee Smith
Honestly, pink and yellow is a color combo we don’t see enough, and we applaud actor Algee Smith for taking the leap at the same event.
Best Prints: Anna Camp
Are you over spring florals? What about florals for winter? Actress Anna Camp is making a convincing argument and we’re willing to hear her out; we too would like to replace our black puffer coat with something brighter.
Best Cozy Look: Ritu Arya
Again, match your makeup to your outfit! If you weren’t already convinced, here’s actress Ritu Arya to convince you in all green. Come on, we love a matching moment.
