Bennifer’s divorce is in full swing, but they continue to be on impressively good terms. In a new interview, Ben Affleck called soon-to-be-ex-wife Jennifer Lopez “spectacular,” proving that not even a weird parking-lot run-in can hamper his good attitude about the separation.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight alongside Matt Damon and Cillian Murphy, Affleck was asked about Unstoppable, a movie he produced that co-stars Lopez. Affleck talked up “the passion of really talented artists” on the set of the movie, saying of his ex, “Jennifer is spectacular,” before praising star Jharrel Jerome (“amazing”) and director Billy Goldberg’s “great job.” Very professional!
Unstoppable is not the only project Ben and Jen worked on together during their relationship. (They were always chasing the high of Gigli, weren’t they?) Earlier this year, they filmed Kiss of the Spider Woman, which J.Lo stars in and they both produced, during March and June — so pretty much the months they were getting divorced. I wonder if they will describe that experience as spectacular, too.
