When Colman Domingo shows up on my feed, I know it will be a good week. Whether it was his pearl-encrusted collar, Dua Lipa’s bow-adorned belly button, or Suki Waterhouse’s blinged-out neck, it was all about the little details. (Or maybe I was looking everywhere else to try to forget about the girthmaster.) Either way, here’s what all your favorite celebrities wore this week.
Best Overall: Colman Domingo
Colman Domingo is the king of menswear, and we’ve missed seeing him since awards season ended. Thankfully, he brought his style back for the opening night of “Uncle Vanya” on Broadway, sporting a cropped blazer and flared pants to match.
Best Overall Runner-up: Dua Lipa in Chanel
Much like Zendaya, Dua Lipa rarely disappoints on the red carpet. She wore a crystal and lace custom Chanel look at the 2024 Time 100 Gala with a deep V-neck and a little hole for her belly button, it’s the right amount of skin. I know the bow belly button might not be for everyone, but I personally love it.
Best Blouse: Diane Kruger
Beauty guru Dr. Barbara Sturm hosted a VIP dinner to commemorate her newest launch, and Kruger showed up glowing. Next to these lavish florals, she manages to stand out in an adorable polka-dot top and some blinged-out hoops.
Best Monochrome: Suki Waterhouse
Tiffany & Co. launched the Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste in Los Angeles, and all the attendees showed up in the most beautiful necklaces, including Waterhouse, whose red statement piece popped against her all-white outfit.
Best Leather: Adrien Brody
Leather doesn’t always translate to a red carpet, but Brody embraced the Tod’s celebration —“The Art Of Craftmanship” — at the 60th Art Biennale to show off some sleekly crafted leather.
Best Party Wear: Simi Khadra
Khadra embraced a mesh moment for a perfect moment: a party for Nadia Lee Cohen and Paris Texas. Paired with black cowboy boots and a black crop top, this is how you do a party pic.
Best Use of Color: Johnny Sibilly and Mark Indelicato
Hacks cast members Sibilly and Indelicato both included hints of bright pink at the season-three return party.
Best Denim Moment: Dawn Nguyen
Dawn Nguyen, a La Garçonne alumna, at the opening of her new store, L’Ensemble. The store has 2,276 square feet of by-appointment space in Dumbo and carries brands like Proenza Schouler, Mfpen, and Kallameyer, as well as vintage furniture. We love seeing a red nail add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit.
Best Street Style: Daisy Collins and Kia Patrón
Spring is the hardest season to dress for, but these two played with proportions and layers so well for the KOTN Lower East Side Store opening.
